Hello! I hope you guys have had a nice Saturday, the weather was great (for a change). Today I spent quite a lot of money on an archery kit, yeah I do archery, pretty cool right?... I didn't say I was any good but practise makes perfect.
Anyway, last night I saw that the Bucket list was on TV, its a really nice film with Jack Nicholson and Morgan freeman. But it got me thinking, what do I want to do in life, so I thought it would be a really fun idea to share my Bucket list with you. It will only be a reasonably short and fun list but as time goes on I'm sure I'll add to it, whether I can get it all done is a complete mystery; I don't even know what I want to do when I leave college but I do know what car I would like when I drive (if I drive, jet packs are better)
Oh I thought I would add that there is nothing wrong with me, I just thought it would be fun to make a bucket list so don't worry I'm fine although I did stub my toe earlier.
So this is just a mini Bucket list of things I want to do before adulthood really kicks in, but I'm sure I'll be able to add to it and possibly add some more "serious" things but where's the fun in that!
1) Skydive- this is on a lot of peoples bucket list and I think it would be an amazing experience plus it could get rid of my fear of heights.
2) Walk around town with a "free hugs" sign- I'd just like to see what happens, I don't really know why but it could be fun
3) Ask for a happy meal but with extra happy- I have already done this but there's no harm in doing it again
4) Finish my script- I am writing a script based on an idea I've had and I want to finish it
5) Get 2 pets and name them Thor and Loki- enough said
6) Get a cameo in a film- As a film lover appearing in one would be a dream come true, its unlikely though.
7) Go to a movie premier
8) Try "Stand-up" comedy- I've been told a few times that I could be a good comedian (I don't believe it) and I love making people happy, we live in a miserable world where poverty and depression lurks around every corner; it shouldn't be like that.
9) Learn the Ukulele- they are awesome!
10) Learn how to spell Ukulele without spell check
11) Sit next to a homeless man with a sign saying "help him out"- I am a nice person (I like to think I am) and I really don't like seeing homeless people, I don't care how they got there whether they are alcoholics or drug addicts, the difference between them and some people in this world is that they cherish what they have and I want to help, unfortunately I'm not made of money but little things can do a lot and I'll tell you about a little experience I had.
I had some lunch and I didn't want it (I think it was a sausage roll and a packet of crisps) so I gave it to a homeless man and the fact that this £1 sausage roll brought so much happiness amazed me so much, we had a bit of a chat then afterwards I left.
12) Climb a mountain
13) When a group of people enter an elevator say "you're probably wondering why I gathered you all here today"- again its that idea of spreading joy without hurting anyone
14) Wear a suit, black glasses and a tie and sit next to someone on a bench handing them an A4 brown envelope saying "make it look like an accident" then walk off- don't ask
15) Learn how to do a front flip
16) Run a marathon
17) Improve my impressions of Consuela and Optimus Prime
18) Become good at Archery- I have been searching for a place to learn archery for 2 years and I have finally found one and its something that I really like so I want to be good and that's all down to practise
19) Design a really cool Transformer- As you can probably see I am a big transformer fan so I've always wanted to design a new character, something unique and awesome with a vehicle mode that hasn't been used (a moped!)
20) Create a superhero- I don't need to explain myself
So yeah, this may give you an insight to what happens inside my head. I'd really like to know what's on your list, is there something you've always wanted to try or complete if so then I say do it! unless it leaves you bankrupt or injured then maybe reconsider.
The way I see it is that I am only 16 and I've got my whole life ahead of me so whilst I work hard and try and do the best I can, I can still have a bit of fun along the way. So even if I get a job behind a desk I will secretly draw my superhero ideas or book a trip up a mountain.
Next week I'll have a few relevant posts like a discussion on Star Trek and Crysis 3 but for today I thought I would do something a bit different.
So I hope you enjoyed this strange post!
Until next time my friends :)
